By default, it operates in Class 2 or Class 3 mode with a 28 MPH speed limit, making it legal for most city streets and bike lanes. For off-road enthusiasts riding on private property, the speed can be unlocked to its full potential of 28 mph. How does the Dual-Motor AWD system benefit my ride?
The SM2 features a high-torque All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system that you can control via a handlebar switch. While single-motor bikes struggle on inclines, the SM2’s dual motors provide explosive acceleration and the power to conquer 30° steep hills.
